PJ Tucker brought over 100 pairs of sneakers to the NBA bubble

PJ Tucker isn’t letting the NBA blockade interfere with his style.

The 35-year-old Houston Rockets player made sure he brought as many physically as possible clothing options to the NBA bubble, even going beyond his assigned room assignment to accommodate all of his shoes.

Tucker told GQ that he had brought 103 pairs of sneakers to Orlando – and receives shipments of more clothes and shoes daily. He paid extra for his two-bedroom suite and has shoes arranged in the living room, confirming that “the whole room is a walk-in closet”.

“It’s so funny because I have so many couples, but when I get dressed, I get anxious because sometimes there is something I want to wear and I’m like ‘Oh, I don’t have it,'” he said. “So I call my sister to say” Send me these now. “It happens every day and I have 100 pairs of shoes.”

Among the shoes that are missing from Tucker are Air Max 1s: “They are perfect for every day,” he says – and a “bunch of [his] new Dunks ”that he couldn’t find while packing. However, the player gets more and more clothes and continues to shop to fill his spare time.

Don’t expect the rest of PJ’s clothes to come loose just because the team doesn’t travel for games; the basketball player says he doesn’t even own a pair of team sweatshirts and isn’t a fan of sandals.

While some may mock Tucker’s dedication to high fashion, he is not organizing a show for anyone else: “My style is part of my lifestyle and part of my preparation for getting ready to play. I must say that it is my preparation for life, “he concluded.

“Every day I have to get dressed. I can’t just jump on something and go out and say, “I won’t see anyone today.” I Watch me.”
