Phil Gould has expressed his unbelief about the condition of the Broncos and described the ultimatum to the besieged trainer Anthony Seibold as something from “fantasy land”.
Seibold has to win five more games this season to spare the ax.
Anthony Milford and Darius Boyd’s ads were criticized, and Greg Alexander urged them to be dropped.
But Gould says there are other influences in the club during the coach’s struggle that need to be questioned.

“Is that true? I cannot imagine that a club would be stupid enough to provide its coach with such an ultimatum and make it public,” said Gould The Footy Show.
“It’s just ridiculous. Two things with your trainer, it’s either over or not. You either stay or you don’t.
“But the biggest thing that needs to be done is that the Broncos have to do a full review and find out how they got into this position, especially with their game plan.
“What I see at the moment are older players who have a rather low support factor and I see young players who are simply not ready for the NRL and have been exposed much too early. Physically and mentally, they are not ready for the challenge of NRL.

“The key for the Broncos is to find out whether they didn’t make the right decision with Anthony Seibold so much, but whether the club gave Anthony Seibold the support and platform on which to operate. I keep coming back to the list.
“The roster for a Broncos is not good enough. Now they have a lot of injuries to key players that can make a difference when they come back. But I also have to look at the football style they play. There is so much wrong with what they are doing, and the suggestion to win five of their last ten is fantasy land. “

The Broncos’ last ten games involve encountering Storm, Sharks, Dragons, Panthers and Cowboys at home.
You’ll also have to travel to face last year’s great finalists, the Raiders and Roosters, the soaring eels, the rabbits, and the titans.
But Gould says that given their poor home record, they’re staring at the barrel of a gun.
“Their last seven games in Sydney under Anthony Seibold have been exceeded with 270: 58,” said Gould. “They lost six of those games, including an embarrassing 0:58 loss to Parramatta Eels. As an organization, they don’t travel well. The older players don’t do the job. His career is now at stake. “
