Raptors Uprising GC (12-0) remains the undisputed best team so far this year, but is starting to get a little more crowded at the top of the leaderboard with Wizards and Warriors both in the top four.

Grizz Gaming against Nets GC was the only series to have played three full games in Night 2 of Week 10, with Grizz taking a decisive victory in Game 3.

Here’s how the evening unfolded.

recap

What started out as a promising night for Heat Check (3-8) deflated after the interval of Game 1 against Magic (5-9).

After a 35-27 lead in the break, Orlando overtook Miami 23-16 in the third quarter and 31-14 in the fourth behind 43 points from front guard Reizey.

The guard managed to overcome herself in game 2 with 53 points and five assists on 22-of-33 shots from the field. The DT center added 14 points, 15 rebounds, six assists and five thefts to help protect the sweep.

Miami simply couldn’t keep up.

Things started a little better for the nets, who stole game 1 from Memphis (7-6), but things changed quickly in the last two games.

Riot guard Vandi left for 27 points and eight assists in Game 2 after scoring 47 points in Game 1’s losing effort. Vandi resumed filming and worked to get his teammates up front more involved in the middle game, but he was able to bring the team to victory in game 3 with 54 points, seven assists and four thefts while forward Jrod (11 points) and GOOFY757 (13 points, 19 cards) achieved a two-digit score.

In games 1 and 3, the nets (7-6) had at least four double-digit starting points, but in the test lap, there was little they could do to stop Vandi.

The evening’s most competitive streak has yet to find a way to end in a bang.

In the second half of the evening, the JBM and Just_Awkward guards brought the magicians with a total of 56 points and 12 assists. Despite the balanced attack by the attacking Pacers, Washington still won by nearly 30 points, making frames of 20 or more points in the second, third and fourth quarters, while Indiana never scored more than 19 in any period.

The same goes for Game 2, which ended just as quickly with four wizards hitting double digits. This time, it was the attacker ReeseDaGod who led the way with JBM while the duo scored 44 combined points in the win.

Bobby Buckets has scored doubles in the center in every game for the Pacers (4-8), giving the team a bright spot ahead.

The most shocking sweep of the night was to the detriment of Bucks Gaming (6-6), a team that rarely has trouble scoring but found themselves hampered by the Warriors.

At some point this season, the Bucks set a championship record with 110 points, but failed to beat 75 in any game against Golden State.

After scoring 33 points in the first quarter of game 1 – giving the team an 11-point lead – Milwaukee started to collapse, letting the Warriors ride an 8-2 race in the fourth quarter for a one point win.

Things got even worse in Game 2 with Golden State overtaking Bucks 59-30 in quarters two and three put together.

The Warriors watch CB13 with 28 points and 13 assists in the win while the Slaughter center ends with 10 points and 16 boards.
