Naomi Osaka’s management team drops important tips on participating in the US Open 2020

Former world number one Naomi Osaka is reportedly playing at the US Open. This comes after several news stories about the Japanese star skipped the Grand Slam due to COVID-19.

A Reuters report states that all rumors about her not playing at the US Open were false. His leadership went on to say that, in effect, he would participate in Flushing Meadows.

Osaka is currently number 10 in the world and had a bad start in 2020. She lost to Coco Gauff in the third round of the Australian Open where she was the defending champion. He will look to get together and make a brilliant run like he did in 2018 when he won Flushing Meadows.

Naomi Osaka will also play in the US Open and Cinncinatti Masters

This will be a relief for the US Open after Ash Barty’s world number one WTA announced that he would skip the US Open. He feels that there are many risks associated with traveling to the United States due to coronavirus.

“My team and I have decided that this year we will not be traveling to the Western & Southern Open and the US Open”, Barty said.

“I love both events, so this was a difficult decision, but there are still significant risks due to COVID-19 and I don’t feel comfortable putting my team and I in that position.” she added.

Other players to skip the US circuit could be Bianca Andreescu, Nick Kyrgios and even Rafael Nadal. Everyone is skeptical that coronavirus is still free in the United States.

The prospect of playing in Europe could also entice players to skip the US Open. Europe is relatively safer and players could avoid quarantine.

However, some players are evaluating the situation and reserving their decision for a later stage.
