MU Again Positive Trends, Solskjaer Reluctant Flattered

Manchester

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer won praise after returning to Manchester United’s fine performance. However, the Norwegian manager did not care about the flattery.

MU is in a positive pace since early 2020. The Red Devils are unbeaten in the last 15 matches in all competitions.

This achievement certainly improved compared to MU’s ups and downs in the first half of the 2019/2020 season. Positive trends achieved by Marcus Rashford et al also made their chance to finish in the Champions League zone still wide open.

Red Devils are currently ranked fifth in the English League standings with 52 points from 32 matches. MU is only two points away from Chelsea who sit in fourth position, as well as a difference of three points from Leicester City in third place.

MU’s increasing performance at this time also made Solskjaer’s name as the team manager come up, because he was considered responsible for the positive pace of his team. Nevertheless, Solskjaer claimed not to care about all the praises addressed to him.

Solskjaer emphasized that he only focused on improving the quality of Manchester United in every match. He chose not to bother with all the talk that came from outside the club.

“If you are worried about what other people write about you, or what people are saying, then you shouldn’t work here. For me that is [soal pujian] not very important, “Solskjaer said Omnisports.

“What I do is improve the team with the coaching staff and the club. I don’t need to be told by people who say we are right or wrong or what we are doing is right. For me, this is about how the next match will continue to grow.” Solskjaer added.

“I believe in such thoughts in handling the club, the players and staff. I only do what I feel is right.

“That’s what I’ve done more or less. I work in football, sometimes things go smoothly and sometimes it doesn’t go as intended,” said Solskjaer.
