Racing MotoGP 2020 which entirely took place in Europe certainly increased to 14 series. This number is more than originally only 13 series.
Reported by the official MotoGP website, the FIM, IRTA, and Dorna Sport announced the addition of one series this season. In the statement the three parties also mentioned MotoGP 2020 will not take place in Argentina, Thailand and Malaysia.
The three series were initially only postponed due to the corona virus pandemic. However, now Dorna ensures that MotoGP riders will not compete quickly in the Argentina, Thailand or Malaysia series.
“We are sad to announce the cancellation of the Argentine GP, Thailand and Malaysia this season. However, we are happy to add another series in Europe to the 2020 race calendar,” said CEO Dorna Carmelo Ezpeleta.

In the announcement mentioned an additional series will take place after the Valencia MotoGP at Ricardo Tormo Circuit, 15 November. Additional series that is rumored to take place in Portugal is scheduled for November 20-22.
Further details regarding the host of additional MotoGP 2020 series will be decided on Monday (10/8).

“I want to thank Dorna, the entire team, and the federation, and the local committee that made us able to get back on track. We continue to adapt every day and we will have a very complete and competitive MotoGP 2020 championship. The location of the 15th series will be announced as soon as possible, “said FIM President Jorge Viegas.
The announcement of the MotoGP makes the race this season lasts as many as 15 series. One other series is the Qatar GP which has held Moto2 and Moto3 races.
MotoGP Racing 2020 itself has been held for as many as two series in Spanish MotoGP and Andalusia MotoGP. These two series are both taking place at the Jerez Circuit and won by Petronas Yamaha rider Fabio Quartararo.
