Ralph Hassenhuttl declined to comment on rumors about Southampton that he was making an exchange deal with Tottenham for Kyle Walker-Peters.
The 23-year-old has been on loan to the Saints since January.
And there have been rumors that the club has secured the defender in a permanent deal with Saint Mary midfielder Pierre Emile-Hojbjerg, who moved to North London.
Walker-Peters has been in decent shape for the club since the restart of the Premier League games in June.
But the leader of Saints Hassenhuttl remains shy about the fact that a permanent move for the star was in the pipeline.
Hassenhuttl said: “Kyle (Walker-Peters) was the one who helped us this semester and we have not yet decided if we will go with him next season.”
