Manchester United’s “table offer” for Milan Skriniar and other rumors about the move

Manchester United made an offer to Inter Milan defender Skriniar, according to reports.

United have been in excellent shape since the restart of the Premier League and are enjoying an unbeaten series of 17 games, due to their new attack verve found.

However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team has still shown some weaknesses on the back that have seen them concede soft goals that on other occasions might be more expensive.

As a result, United has once again been linked to a string of talented central defenders and the last name to emerge is the giant Skriniar.

United was repeatedly tied to the Slovakian when it was the last on the market for a central defender, but a move never materialized when he signed a new contract to stay in San Siro.

However, according to TuttoSport, through SportWitness, Inter could now consider selling Skriniar as he struggled to adapt to Antonio Conte’s three-man defense.

It is also claimed that the asking price of the 25-year-old has gone down after an unfavorable season and that United has “put € 65 million on the table” to try and sign it.

However, they could face stiff competition as Manchester City, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are also said to show interest and that Inter will have to “evaluate any offer to understand what is best.”

MEN Sport understands that United will not prioritize signing a new central defender this summer and will instead focus on one wing, director and midfielder.

Meanwhile, United reportedly took pole position in the race to sign Ben Chilwell of Leicester City.

According to The Sun, the 23-year-old has emerged as a United goal, despite Luke Shaw and Brandon Williams offering options to the left back at the moment.

Williams’ development meant United was happy to shelve plans to sign a full back, but Chilwell impressed for Leicester, with Chelsea and Manchester City also linked.
