Manchester United made an offer to Inter Milan defender Skriniar, according to reports.

However, they could face stiff competition as Manchester City, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are also said to show interest and that Inter will have to “evaluate any offer to understand what is best.”
MEN Sport understands that United will not prioritize signing a new central defender this summer and will instead focus on one wing, director and midfielder.
Meanwhile, United reportedly took pole position in the race to sign Ben Chilwell of Leicester City.
According to The Sun, the 23-year-old has emerged as a United goal, despite Luke Shaw and Brandon Williams offering options to the left back at the moment.
Williams’ development meant United was happy to shelve plans to sign a full back, but Chilwell impressed for Leicester, with Chelsea and Manchester City also linked.
