Lou Williams of Clippers to serve the 10-day quarantine will miss the games

The NBA placed Lou Williams in a 10-day quarantine after the Los Angeles Clippers guard was investigated by the league for what he did during an apology absence from the Orlando, Florida campus.

The league announced Williams’ quarantine on Sunday, three days after Williams was photographed by rapper Jack Harlow at an Atlanta strip club. Harlow quickly deleted the post from her Instagram story and tweeted on Friday, “That was an old photo of me and Lou. I was just remembering why I miss her.”

In the photograph, Williams holds a drink in his hand and wears an NBA mask distributed on the Orlando campus.

Sources told ESPN that Williams, 33, was interviewed by NBA security about where he was while away from campus, and told them that he went to the Magic City strip club in Atlanta on Thursday, but he didn’t ‘were entertainers present while he was there.

According to sources, Williams told NBA investigators that he attended a visit for Paul G. Williams, which ended at 6:00 pm on Thursday, then went to Magic City for dinner. Sources claim that Paul Williams was the father of a close family friend. Williams tweeted a photo of Paul Williams on Friday, along with the caption “Long Live Pops”.

On Friday, Lou Williams wrote in a tweet: “Ask one of my teammates what my favorite restaurant is in Atlanta. There’s no one celebrating. Relax lol. #Maskon #inandout.”

According to NBA policy, Williams was tested for coronavirus every day that was away from campus, a source told ESPN. Players are subject to a minimum quarantine of four days after leaving campus for a justified absence.

However, the re-quarantine time could be extended up to 10 days if recommended by the infectious disease specialists of the alloy.

ESPN’s Zach Lowe recently reported that for Los Angeles Lakers guard Alex Caruso, who was considering whether to attend his sister’s 100-person wedding in Texas, the re-quarantine process would likely have been 10 or even 14 days to due to the high risk nature of the event.

Clippers coach Doc Rivers was asked about Williams’ photos and his trip after leaving Orlando.

“I can’t share much with his trip. I wasn’t on that trip with him,” Rivers said before the Clippers’ scrimmage on Saturday. “But he’s back here, I can tell you so much. You know, obviously those photos came out, and it’s something we obviously didn’t like to see or appreciate.”

Williams joined Montrezl Harrell and Patrick Beverley as Clippers who were apologized for leaving the Orlando campus to deal with family matters in the past week.

In addition to losing those three players, the Clippers didn’t have Ivica Zubac and Landry Shamet available in Orlando. Zubac shared a photo of what appeared to be a window seen at Walt Disney World Resort with the location of Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort on Saturday morning on Instagram, and Shamet posted Saturday photos on Instagram of himself traveling on a private jet .

Rivers said he was unsure whether he would have his full list available for the NBA Clippers’ first game against the Lakers on Thursday.

“I honestly don’t know,” said Rivers. “I suppose I would doubt it, but I have no idea.”
