Ligue 1: 5 cases of Covid-19 at RC Strasbourg

Almost every day, the streak of players who test positive for Covid-19 continues to grow longer. After Nantes (five), and Lille (three), it’s RC Strasbourg’s turn. The Alsatian club, chaired by Marc Keller, announced that five players from its professional workforce tested positive for Covid-19, during the weekly examination. The friendly match against Nancy (Ligue 2), scheduled for this Saturday, is therefore canceled, as well as the supporters’ day, this Sunday.

The infected players were of course placed in fourteen as soon as the results were known. Marc Keller reacted quickly: “As soon as we received the results, we put in place all the necessary measures to limit the spread of the virus. As I have said on several occasions, health must remain our priority. “
