Sacramento Kings forward Harrison Barnes has announced that he has tested positive for COVID-19 before his team traveled to the Walt Disney World Resort for the resumption of the 2019-2020 season.
“I have been mainly asymptomatic and am doing well,” said Barnes. “I am quarantined and abiding by the security protocol until I am authorized to act. I hope to join my team in Orlando when it is safe to do so!”
The 28-year-old is the second NBA player in as many days to confirm a positive test after Houston Rockets star Russell Westbrook confirmed his test result Monday:
