Justin Anderson finds Joe Harris for the alley-oop

Gathered in the NBA, a former Virginia Cavaliers star Joe Harris is Justin Anderson they are playing for the Brooklyn nets in Orlando. On Saturday they connected for an alley in the NBA bubble.

While in Charlottesville, the expectation would have been that Harris would find Anderson for the oop. The roles were reversed on Saturday.

Anderson found a Harris cut for the lay-up.

In January, Joe Harris, NBA’s three-point champion in 2019, finished fourth on the Brooklyn Nets list of three ever pointers. Last season, Harris led the NBA in the 3-point hitting percentage (47.4), becoming the first goal to do so while setting the franchise season record. Throughout his career, Harris averages 42.5 percent from the three-point line. Collegially, Harris finished his second UVA career in three percentage points (.407) and three points (263). Harris won the All-ACC and ACC Tournament MVP tournament honoring his senior season, leading the UVA to its first appearance in Sweet Sixteen in twenty years.

Justin Anderson, a native of Montross, Virginia, was originally selected by Dallas with the twenty-first choice in the first round of the 2015 NBA Draft after a three-year collegiate career (2012-15) at the University of Virginia. While playing for the Cavaliers, Anderson obtained the National Basketball Coaches Association All-America Third Team Award and was named Junior All-ACC Team. He was also named Sixth Sixth ACC of the year by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association as a second year. In four NBA seasons, appearing with Mavericks, Philadelphia 76ers and Atlanta Hawks, Anderson averaged 5.3 points and 2.6 rebounds in 13.2 minutes per game.
