Jenthe Biermans was one of the handful of riders who made the switch from the Russian team when Katjoesja merged with Israel Cycling. In the few races that he could already drive for his new employer, he made a good impression.
“In the Belgian opening weekend as well as in Paris-Nice, he drove with a great mentality, always employed by the team,” says manager Kjell Carlström. Israel Start-Up Nation hopes that Biermans can eventually grow into an important role in the team, especially in the classics.
Biermans himself also dreams of great things. “My big dream is to win a professional race. I want to realize that dream with this team. I want to develop even more in the classics and become an important rider for ISN. I wear this shirt with great pride.”
