Jean Todt: “Michael Schumacher working on first public performance”

Former Ferrari boss Jean Todt says Michael Schumacher and his family are working on the first public appearance of the Formula 1 legend in seven years. Schumacher the best ever

Looking back at the German’s career in the sport, Todt declined to claim that Schumacher is the best F1 driver ever. Todt says about this: “I love Michael. But it is impossible to say who is the best ever. You have legends like Juan Manuel Fangio, Jim Clark, Ayrton Senna and Michael. You can only think in terms of who is the best in a certain generation. “

Lewis Hamilton may match Schumacher’s record of seven world titles this season, but Todt insists it matters little when it comes to the German’s legacy. Schumacher’s good friend: “I know it can happen that Lewis surpasses Michael’s record of the driver with the most titles in history. All the ingredients are in place at Mercedes to do that.
