Ja’Marr Chase and WRs could be even better in 2021 – The Athletic

The harvest of wide receivers in the 2020 NFL draft was described as historic and met these expectations with a record 13 of them drafted in the first two rounds.

And yet the wide 2021 class receivers could be even better.

Time will tell how the numbers match, but the talent and potential of the big receivers eligible for the project in the college football landscape make it at least a conversation. Although my No. 1 wide receiver was fairly easy, ranking the next four was more difficult, which also made it difficult to leave multiple names in the top five.

If he was in good health, Justyn Ross, receiver of the Clemson juniors, would have been among my top five hopefuls, but I did not include him in my ranking because of his recent neck operation.
