A quick glance at Cam Newton’s handful of social media will reveal how much effort the player puts into his daily training regimen. Cam Newton seems to have a point to prove. At 31, there is no doubt that Newton is entering the twilight of his career. Since entering the NFL in 2011, Cam Newton has been considered one of the best quarters of the past decade. But his constant battle with injuries caused him a lot of problems during his time with the Panthers. Shoulder and foot injuries in the last few years of his contract with the Panthers have tarnished his reputation as one of the best QBs in the NFL. This could be one of the reasons for its renewed determination and subsequent acquisition by the New England Patriots.

But if you want to trust the reports, then more than half of that is linked to bonuses. Despite all this negative energy, Cam Newton maintains that it is not about money for him. Respect is more important to veteran QB and he seems determined to prove a point to his skeptics.
