Inter is expected to announce the signing of Real Madrid’s Achraf Hakimi at the end of the Serie A season at the earliest.
Hakimi yesterday completed his transfer to Inter for 40 million euros plus 5 million euros in bonuses, passed his medical degree and signed a five-year contract.
However, Gazzetta dello Sport writes that the full-back has been given permission to start his summer vacation now after Borussia Dortmund’s Bundesliga season ended last weekend.
Therefore, it is unlikely that his move will be officially confirmed until the Nerazzurri call him back for the 2020-21 preseason.
Series A 19-20 ends at the beginning of next month at the latest, but Inter may be waiting for their Europa League run to finish, which will fall on August 21 when they reach the final.
