Manchester City has been released from its European ban and that almost immediately causes the club to stir on the transfer market. For example, trainer Pep Guardiola would have set his sights on a new Red Devil.
According to some British media, Guardiola is after Jan Vertonghen (33). Vertonghen will soon be at the end of his contract with Tottenham Hotpsur and can be picked up for free.
Guardiola would see an ideal asset to his current defense in Vertonghen. During the past season, Manchester City had many problems with its defenders, who were often out. Vertonghen could help solve those problems.
