FC Pipinsried – old season, new happiness – sport in the region

Raschel, croak, scratch – it could be the sounds of summer. Every time someone else picks up the microphone, the plastic cover around it has to be disinfected beforehand, and that evening quite a few new people have to be introduced to FC Pipinsried. At the club they are amazed at how many supporters came on Friday evening. They watched the kick-off training, at the top of the curling rink they provided beer banks at a suitable distance, there is something going on. It looks a little as if amateur football has awakened from its hibernation in mid-July.

In addition, they also had a need to communicate with the Bayern league leader in the Dachau hinterland. Since the last home game, three seasons ago, they have lost two managers, two coaches and a lot of good players. And because there had been a lot of speculation about how things would go now, they wanted to show that they are now well positioned again.

The sports director Tarik Sarisakal has opened a new main sponsor among his acquaintances. According to the opening words of President Roland Küspert, he is the first to receive the microphone in his hand. The young businessman Burim Hazrolli from Pfaffenhofen an der Glonn said that he had never known FC Pipinsried before. But you fit together, both would have started small. Applause. Then, from the goalkeepers to the attack, all players are introduced, including numerous additions such as Peter Guinari and Marc Koch, both of whom were trained at 1860 Munich and want to take the chance to play in the regional league next season. Attacker Marian Knecht is back from Türkgücü Munich, for whom he has not played a single game after a long injury. Stephan Thee, croak, crack, may also speak, the former professional of the SpVgg Unterhaching is now playing assistant coach. Then it’s finally Andreas Thomas’s turn, the new trainer. “The pressure is there,” says the 38-year-old – and smiles. Previously, there was talk that the season should end with a historical point advantage and, if possible, with 100 goals or more. In addition, you can also get the League Cup, which is to be played from September. If the season continues as planned in September, then the champagne corks could pop soon after two or three games for Thomas, Pipinsried is still 21 points ahead. “To remain undefeated is a high goal, but also within the possible framework,” he says. The successor to Fabian Hürzeler and Muriz Salemovic has the Trainer-A license. He made his experiences primarily in the young talent center at FC Ingolstadt. He also played in Pipinsried himself, a good ten years ago before cartilage damage forced him to retire.

It’s funny, says Thomas: On the one hand, it all feels like normal summer preparation: “It’s a new squad, a unit has to be formed.” On the other hand, the break was so long that you had to listen carefully to the players. And now make sure that they don’t overdo themselves on the pitch out of sheer euphoria. He finds the planned League Cup a good thing, so the coaching team has the opportunity to “get everyone in the rhythm of the game”.

Croak, scratch. The second chairman Martin Schmidl mentions that there is now also a B-youth. This is not as banal as it sounds at first, because training young people in the small village club to make it into the men’s squad has long been a dream.

In between, the sports director was asked to say something. When the press spokesman for Sarisakal prepares the microphone, he actually calls out: “You could also briefly turn it off when disinfecting.” Someone else had already told him that, the microphone officer replies: “But that’s never so funny.” As long as they enjoy such skirmishes in Pipinsried, the club has a great future ahead of them.
