Eric Bledsoe of Bucks has COVID-19

Eric Bledsoe tested positive for COVID-19 but claimed to be asymptomatic.

Guard Milwaukee Bucks has not been with the team since they reported to Orlando last week, as was reported for the first time by Yahoo Sports reporter Chris Haynes who is covering the NBA from Orlando.

The Bucks started a second training camp in July, but decided to close rehearsals on July 5 after someone in the organization tested positive for coronovirus. They refused to name the person at the time.

After the story revealed that he wasn’t with the team, Bledsoe posted on his Instagram page: “Mask and stay safe”.

Bledsoe is among other NBA players to announce positive COVID-19 tests since teams started reporting the bubble last week, including Houston Rockets guard Russell Westbrook, Sacramento Kings striker Harrison Barnes and Malcolm Brogdon Indiana.

Bledsoe is a big contributor to the Bucks, who thought he should have been nominated for the star team and February showcase game. He averages 15.4 points 4.6 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game this season.
