Dwyane Wade clarifies the initial tweet in support of Nick Cannon

A short time later, he tweeted again.

Cannon was fired from ViacomCBS on Wednesday after a recent episode of his podcast, “Cannon’s Class”, in which he praised the nation’s leader of Islam Louis Farrakhan and discussed anti-Semitic conspiracy theories.

The company released a statement announcing the layoff, denouncing the episode’s “hateful speech”.

“ViacomCBS condemns fanaticism of any kind and we categorically denounce all forms of anti-Semitism,” says the note.

Cannon released his statement on his Facebook page where he defended himself.

“I am deeply saddened at a time so close to reconciliation that the powers that are, have abused an important moment for all of us to get closer and learn more about each other,” said Cannon. “Instead the moment was stolen and stolen to give an example of a straight-forward black man. I will not be bullied, silenced or continually oppressed by any organization, group or corporation. I am disappointed that Viacom does not understand or respect the power of the black community. “

Philadelphia Eagles’ wide receiver DeSean Jackson was recently fined for harmful behavior to the team after posting on anti-Semitic social media. Former NBA player Stephen Jackson later defended him and also openly discussed anti-Semitic conspiracy theories.
