Dennis Schroder has an interesting tactic to drive Alec Burks away

Sunday’s Sixers were in the middle of their second scrimmage in the Walt Disney World bubble when something strange happened.

Adapting to the games without the fans was certainly an adaptation, having each playoff team within a few kilometers of each other has been fun to watch, but so far nothing has lived up to this … interesting move by the guard of the thunder Dennis Schroder.

While the second quarter was underway, Schroder was protecting Alec Burks from an incoming pass by Ben Simmons. There are many ways to try and intercept a pass or get into an opponent’s head, but we’ve never seen something like this.

While Burks was getting ready, it appears that he inadvertently stepped on Schroder’s foot.

Instead of shaking it off and letting it go, Schroder returns it to him and steps on his foot just before the ball returns to play.

Although focused on these scrimmage games, this was a hysterical moment and it just gets more fun as you watch it.
