Norwich has only 21 points this season and seven points behind Watford, who is fourth from below. Norwich clearly does not possess the Man United offensive threat but can be a tough opponent on the pitch.
With Liverpool and Man City still to play, this is truly a crucial game for Brighton and Burn anticipates a tough test.
“We have started well since returning from the block, so hopefully the game against United is only a small step forward and we can go to Norwich and get a result,” said Burn.
“But we know it’s going to be a tough game. They gave us a good game before scoring a couple of goals in the 2-0 win here, so we’ll have to be ready.”
“The Norwich game never came to mind on Tuesday, you have to play every game as it is,” he added.
“Norwich is a great game, but then we still have Manchester City and Liverpool to play, so it’s not that we have many teams at the bottom to play – we’re playing the teams at the top, we wanted to collect points against United, but it wasn’t meant to be. “
Leandro Trossard scored against Norwich in the 2-0 victory at Amex last November. Belgain also made a positive impact against Man United from the bench and hopes to bring him to the Norwich game.
“Our response was good in the second half and that’s what we need to focus on examining the Norwich game,” said Trossard.
“The games are coming at the moment and this is good for us in terms of being able to recover on Tuesday and we hope to get a good result on Saturday,” added Trossard.
“We have to get the good points from the United game and try to make it difficult for Norwich on Saturday.”
