Christina Kim is taking additional precautions during a trip to Toledo, Ohio for the first LGPA restart event.
After waking up at 4 am for her connecting flight to Charlotte, the three-time LGPA winner took several preventative measures to protect herself from potentially contracting the coronavirus. Before boarding, he dressed in a complete suit, complete with glasses, mask and gloves.
For some time before take-off, Kim made a commitment and contested several criticisms on Twitter that he received regarding his protective gear.
“I’d rather be foolish and excessive than risk flying over and finding out that I contracted the virus on the flight,” said Kim, quoting a Tweet from a user. “Simple enough. I don’t care if I look ridiculous.”
“What’s wrong with everyone? It’s not meant to be taken lightly,” Kim, 36, replied to another. “It’s not about some fashion bulls – t. It’s about security. Cmon, people. Act well. Please. “
Before the tour ended due to COVID-19 concerns, Kim recorded the top 10 back-to-back results at the Vic Open and Australian Open in February.
As he pointed out in a tweet, Kim continues to take additional precautions during his travels ahead of the LPGA Drive On Championship at the Inverness Club.
“The second stage is about to begin! I am so happy to get closer to Toledo !! The program includes:
– Grab / disinfect a rental car
– Guide to get the COVID test
– Check in on Airbnb (remove tools before check-in)
– Training at home
– Take the groceries
– Preparation of meals as many days as possible. “
