The Washington football team will reveal the team’s new name in the “coming days,” according to a report on ESPN Radio’s Dallas-Forth Worth station by Chris Robinson of Yahoo.
According to @CharlesRobinson, a name change for the Washington football franchise is imminent. Teams were asked to clean up the old racist logo from their platforms. Robinson says new name may be revealed in coming days

The report also said that NFL teams were “ordered to clean up the old racist logo from their platforms”.
Eight days ago, the team announced that it would be carrying out a “thorough review” of the team’s name after increasing pressure from several major sponsors.

It has been reported by NBC Sports Washington and others that a new name is coming before the 2020 season kicks off. An NFL business expert says that trying to create a new name and identity would be a “Herculean task.” Given the short lead time, with the season starting in less than two months, there would be several obstacles.
