Thiago Silva’s future looks set to rumble this summer.

90-minute reports have said that the likes of Newcastle United, Everton, West Ham and Wolves will be competing for his signature, while a number of clubs around the world will also be excited about a move.
However, Arsenal will hope to have a trump card to bring it to North London.
The Daily Mail reported that Arsenal has already made contact with a move for Thiago Silva.
It is suggested that Mikel Arteta has already spoken to the defender about the prospect of a move, also using his team to convince him.
David Luiz was said to have been asked to speak with Silva to convince his former Paris Saint-Germain teammate to choose the Gunners over the rest of the teams involved.
Having just signed a contract, Luiz is probably the perfect person to talk to his Brazilian colleague about the prospect of a move.

Okay, he’s 35 and his best years are behind him, but the Brazilian certainly has a lot to offer.
There is no doubt that it would be a wonderful addition for any Premier League club, especially one like Arsenal who desperately needs experience in their defensive line.
It remains to be seen if they will be able to afford a player like Thiago Silva, but it would be enough if they could do it.
