Yimmi Chará remembered a duo with Teófilo Gutiérrez in Junior (COLOMBIAN PLAYERS)

In recent years one of the players most remembered by the fans of the ‘shark’ is the Valle del Cauca, who had great performances with both clubs in his short experience in them. Therefore, Yimmi Chará remembered a duo with Teófilo Gutiérrez in Junior and also explained how this influenced his career.

During the second semester of 2015 Chará played for the ‘green of the mountain’, in these six months he managed to be Colombian soccer champion, being one of the figures of the team that Reinaldo Rueda was managing at that time. Later, in July 2017, he became one of the most expensive signings in the history of the Junior and until July 2018 he formed, together with ‘Teo’, one of the best pairs of the FPC in a long time.

In an interview with Caracol Radio’s ‘El Vbar’, the man from Cali spoke about the popular ‘Chateo’, who between 2017 and 2018 filled the fans of the ‘shark’ with enthusiasm, and his words demonstrated the importance of sharing a lead with the Barranquillero in his career:

“I think it was natural, they are things that one as a player does not expect, or that one as a player believes. It is one of those natural things that you no longer see your partner and know what movement he can make.

I think that was the work that was done every day and when we went out on the field we already understood each other’s movement, the truth is that I think it has been one of the best pairs he has had so far “

Afterwards, Chará gave a forceful answer when asked if he would like to return to Junior:

“Yes, of course, I would return. It is an institution that made me grow even more as a professional.

Everyone who is part of the club received me and treated me very well, you always want to return to those kinds of places where you come out in the best way “

However, Yimmi Chará revealed which of the teams he played for in the FPC he would choose to return to:

“One of the institutions I would like to return to is Nacional because of the short time I was there.

I think it was a great tournament, it was a very short time at Atlético Nacional and it is one of the institutions that I would like to return to, without detracting from the others “
