Wacker Innsbruck draw after SV Lafnitz’s last minute goal

FC Wacker Innsbruck lost the third place in the second division in the 25th round to FC Liefering. The Tyroleans did not get past a 1: 1 (1: 0) draw on Saturday evening due to a late goal at SV Lafnitz and fell behind the tied “young bulls” due to the poorer goal difference, who lost 3: 2 against Kapfenberger SV won.

After a goal by Markus Wallner in the 32nd minute it looked long after the fourth win for Innsbruck in the most recent five rounds. Christian Lichtenberger (94.) almost made the guests in the last action of the game a spanner in the works. It was nothing to do with the seventh away win in the last eight appearances. There was also no successful revenge for the home 0: 3 against the eight games without a win at the bottom of the league.

Innsbruck lacks eleven points from the weakening league leader SV Ried, the second Austria Klagenfurt, who still competes in fifth at Steyr on Sunday (10.30 a.m.), is nine points away. The games FAC – Young Violets Austria Vienna and GAK – Dornbirn also ended with 1: 1. Amstetten defeated the Juniors Upper Austria 3-1 away.
