On a sombre note, the funeral of Tony Dunne will take place on Tuesday. A member of Sir Matt Busby’s all-conquering United side of the late 1960s, Dunne lined up at left-back for the 1968 European Cup final and only seven players have made more than his 535 appearances for the club. The former Red’s death was sadly announced on 8 June.
