Mark Robins is waiting for confirmation of a 2020/21 launch date before calling his players back to the club’s Ryton-on-Dunsmore training base and beginning their busy pre-season routine.

The revered Sky Blues boss will work backwards from a confirmed date to ensure that his team gets the best possible preparation before their championship with friendly games behind closed doors.

Reports suggest that the start of the season in September with a transfer window could go into October, but these dates are currently only speculation.

The championship season is also expected to begin at the end of this season after closed doors.
