Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly planning to unload some of Manchester United’s big earnings this summer as he tries to raise money to sign Jadon Sancho.

Any deal for the Borussia Dortmund winger will be expensive, with its current club asking for £ 110 million to sell international England.

Amid the coronavirus pandemic, United leaders are uneasy about shelling out so much on a player and executive vice president Ed Woodward told Solskjaer that he will have to raise extra funds through sales.

Reducing the wage bill is a priority for the Manchester United manager, which makes Alexis Sanchez top of his list of players to download.

Jesse Lingard will also leave the club, with the likelihood that fellow academic student Andreas Pereira will also exit the door.

British defenders Chris Smalling and Phil Jones are also on sale, according to The Mirror.

Solskjaer would like to get rid of all of them, however, accepts that wages of £ 400,000 per week for Sanchez may prove to be a critical point.

The Chilean international has been on loan at Inter this season and another loan deal may be easier to organize.

Lingard’s value has plummeted in recent times, with United coaches being surprised by the dramatic drop in his performance.

However, they still want £ 20 million for the British international, while they expect to raise around £ 10 million and £ 15 million from sales of Smalling and Jones respectively.

They also cut the wages bill to allow wages of £ 170,000 a week for Sancho.
