BOLASPORT.COM – Pakansari Stadium, Cibinong, Bogor continues to revonate, although PSSI was not selected for the 2021 U-20 World Cup venue.

PSSI has previously announced six stadiums which will be the venue for the U-20 World Cup.

The six stadiums are Jakarta’s Bung Karno Main Stadium, Jakabaring Stadium (Palembang), Si Jalak Harupat Stadium (Bandung), Manahan Stadium (Solo), Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium (Surabaya), and I Wayan Dipta Gianyar Stadium (Denpasar).

Head of the Bogor Regency Youth and Sports Agency (Kadispora), Bambang Setiawan, said that he had not yet received an official letter from PSSI.

“The first is that I have not received official information. Several times we also received a visit from FIFA, PSSI. Usually, there is an official notification letter,” he said quoted by BolaSport.com from TribunnewsBogor.com.

Bambang said that the Tira Persikabo Headquarters had actually been prepared thoroughly in order to contribute to the success of the great soccer event.

“Actually we have prepared everything in Pakansari according to FIFA standards to hold the World Cup,” he said.

“Menpora, PSSI, FIFA have reviewed directly here. In fact we have great support from the Regent of Bogor for the success of the 2021 U-20 World Cup,” Bambang said.

Regarding PSSI’s decision, Bambang said he was not disappointed because the Pakansari Stadium failed to witness the history of world-class footballers grazing on the gridiron.
