Musaba among most expensive transfers NEC

With the sale of Anthony Musaba, NEC has made significant strides in the transfer market. The nineteen-year-old attacker is with an amount of 2.5 to 3 million in the list of most expensive outgoing transfers from the club.

Looking at the base amount, Björn Vleminckx is the most expensive player NEC has ever sold. In 2011, he moved to Club Brugge for 3.3 million euros. Jasper Cillessen went over it with the bonus scheme and resale percentage. The goalkeeper left the same year as Vleminckx for Ajax, for 3.2 million euros. NEC later touched a maximum of 5 tons of bonuses and 1.5 million when he moved to Barcelona. With that, Cillessen went towards 5 million in total income.

For the third on the list, we go a little further back. NEC received in 2008 according to the media 3 million euros for Brett Holman, who left for AZ. Anthony Limbombe and Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld are likely to exceed three million due to resale percentages. They left for Club Brugge in 2016 and 2018 for approximately 2.4 million euros. However, NEC receives the amounts, including those from resale, in installments.

After this five, Alireza Jahanbakhsh follows the list. He moved from NEC to AZ in 2015 for 1.8 million euros and three years later went to Brighton & Hove Albion for a large sum. NEC then received another 1 million, but that amount was spread over several years. With 2.8 million, the Iranian is still above Musaba, who left for AS Monaco for an amount of between 2 and 2.5 million euros. With bonuses and possible resale, this can amount to more than 3 million euros.
