Mauricio Pochettino poses as a teenager with son Maurizio and confirms new Tottenham contract

Maurizio Pochettino has dedicated his future to Tottenham by signing a new contract in north London.

The 19-year-old, son of former manager Mauricio, joined the club’s academy three years ago when his father was responsible for the Lilywhites.

Since then, he has moved up from the club’s U18 side to Spurs in Premier League 2.

He scored a goal and a template for the Lilywhites in Premier League 2 this season and appeared regularly in the UEFA Youth League after five appearances for the team, including the 9-2 win against Red Star, where he had two assists registered.

With his contract, which expires at the end of this month, it was announced on the Premier League list last week that he was actually offered new conditions for remaining in the club.

Well, the young winger has decided to renew his contract after announcing the news on his Instagram account.

“I’m looking forward to the #COYS season,” he wrote.

In the first photo, he posed with his father. His second picture showed him signing on the dotted line.

A number of Spurs fans learned what Mauricio was actually wearing next to his son when he was wearing a Nike Tottenham t-shirt.

The Argentine, who was fired by Daniel Levy in November after a bad start to the 2019/20 season, clearly still has a strong feeling for the club, as can be seen from his choice of clothing.

Amid doubts about Maurizio’s long-term future in the club at the end of last year after his father left, it seems that he has a bright future in North London as he tries to find his way into the first team.

Jose Mourinho has named some of the club’s talented players in his squad for matchday several times this season, with Harvey White on the bench for the recent game against Manchester United.

With Japhet Tanganga and Troy Parrott, who appear in games for the senior team, Pochettino hopes that he can follow in his footsteps and bow his first team in the coming years.
