200 million transfer budget possible
The financially battered traditional French club Olympique Marseille is hoping for a loan from Michaël Cuisance. As “L’Equipe” reports, coach André Villas-Boas in particular should stand up for the 20-year-old midfielder’s signing. The French U20 international still has a contract with FC Bayern Munich until 2024. In the current season, he was only used for 212 minutes in competitive games of the first division team.

Accordingly, the interested fund should plan to invest 700 million euros in the association in the event of a successful takeover. 300 million euros would go to the previous owner Frank McCourt, 200 million euros would be used to offset the debts – and an equally large amount would be made available for the transfer market.
The French businessman Mourad Boudjellal plays a crucial role in the negotiations. This took over the presidency of the third division club Sporting Club de Toulon on Friday, but secured a dissolution clause in his contract. Should Marseille be sold, Boudjellal near Toulon can get out again to start in the same role at Olympique. That evening, at RMC, he said, “I can confirm that I have an offer for OM from a Middle Eastern fund. (…) We are certain with our proposal and the feasibility of the offer. The funds come from the fields of oil, water and energy. ”The offer is to be formulated at the beginning of next week.
