Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp says his main focus is that the squad that has delivered the Merseyside Club’s first top title in three decades will not be disbanded in the near future.
Liverpool’s 30-year wait for the top 19 English title ended after second-placed Manchester City were beaten by Chelsea, giving Klopp’s team an unassailable 23-point advantage with seven games remaining.
Klopp, who took over Liverpool in 2015, survived a period of persistent dominance, delivering the Champions League last season and the championship title this year.

“I cannot promise that we will dominate football now, and I do not know if it is time to talk about major upheavals,” he told the German newspaper Bild. “But I know our goal is to keep the team together.”
The 53-year-old Klopp believes that Liverpool is not in the same boat as his former club Borussia Dortmund, who lost important players like Shinji Kagawa and Robert Lewandowski in the seasons after the two victories in 2011 and 2012.
“The problem was that our (Dortmund) team was accepted by other clubs. That didn’t happen here and now the team has been exceptionally constant for two and a half years, ”added the German.

Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho is a transfer goal for Liverpool, according to British media reports, but Klopp admitted that he doesn’t imagine his team playing for the English winger.
“The red jersey would look very good for Jadon. But I don’t think such a transfer will take place this summer. I would be most surprised if he moved to Liverpool, ”he said.
