Leeds finds out Ben White’s price before the summer window

Leeds United is about to rise.

The duel with Fulham at the weekend was a real turning point for Marcelo Bielsa.

Had they lost, they would have had an anxious end of the season as the London club would have narrowed the gap to their counterparts on Elland Road to just four points.

Instead, they ran rampant and won 3-0 thanks to goals from Patrick Bamford, Ezgjan Alioski and Jack Harrison.

This result means that Leeds is currently the top of the championship, three points ahead of West Bromwich Albion on second and eight points ahead of third-placed Brentford.

Ben White played an important role in the club’s attempts to win promotion to the Premier League and played the 90 minutes on Saturday, with Aleksandar Mitrovic staying calm for the time being.

He has played 39 times in the championship this season – he hasn’t missed a single game – but Alan Nixon, the respected journalist, has now announced exactly how much white would cost to buy this summer.

He was borrowed from Brighton & Hove Albion on Elland Road, of course, and will return to the seagulls at the end of the campaign.

Nixon wrote on Twitter when asked about the possibility that he could continue: “He is a Brighton player.

“He has a new contract. If he wants to go, it’s 40-50 m. “

Even if Leeds goes up, that’s a huge number.

Harry Sherlock from GIVEMESPORT says …

This is a heavy blow for Marcelo Bielsa’s team.

White was an exceptional player for the club this season. As a replacement for Pontus Janssen, he became a key player among the Argentines.

Brighton boss Graham Potter has previously said that his future will be decided at the end of the season and it remains to be seen if he will continue.

White has only played twice for the Seagulls so far, but it would be stupid to make money at this point, as he seems ready to go straight into Premier League football.

Leeds will almost certainly want to keep it.

They are supported by the wealth of their promotion when they go up, but it just doesn’t make sense to give a player £ 50m.

They may have to say goodbye to white regardless of their promotion.
