Jazz star Rudy Gobert deals with side effects of the coronavirus 3 months after diagnosis

Rudy Gobert was the first NBA player to test positive for corona virus in March – and over three months later, the Utah jazz star says he still hasn’t fully recovered.

Gobert told L’Equipe that he had not regained his sense of smell.

“The taste has returned, but the smell is still not 100 percent. I can smell the smells, but not from a distance. I spoke to specialists who told me it could take up to a year, ”said Gobert about HoopsHype.

The league released their game schedule last Friday, and in the first row of games the New Orleans Pelicans are expected to compete against jazz in a double header opener. And just like the first night of this season, the second game of the nationwide televised Twinbills will compete against the Los Angeles Clippers for the Los Angeles Lakers.
