Timothy Castagne left Racing Genk three years ago and the Red Devil has not fared badly at Atalanta so far. Despite getting less playing time due to a knee injury, the player could leave Italy.
Timothy Castagne has made a name for himself in Italy. He joined Atalanta in 2017 and the defender has become an important pawn in Gasperini’s squad. In three years, the Red Devil has played no fewer than 84 games for Atalanta, scoring eight goals and nine assists.
His great performances have not gone unnoticed by some European top clubs. In an interview with The last hour Castagne does not hide that this year could be the right year for a transfer. “I think it’s time to take things to the next level, but I won’t be disappointed staying with Atalanta.”
Castagne can count on interest from PSG, but Tottenham would also show interest. “I am very proud of that, but I hope it is more than just interest. It is difficult to refuse these teams,” said Castagne.
