Al-Ahly officials are awaiting the return of Swiss coach Rene Weiler to the first team soccer coach from his country after traveling during the last period to spend a vacation with his family.

Feiler had left Cairo on the tenth of June, after obtaining permission from the club’s administration, to spend a family vacation that ranges from ten days to two weeks before returning again to lead the team’s training.

Khaled Murtaji, a member of Al-Ahly’s board of directors, had confirmed that he had held several meetings with Rene Vyler, accompanied by Amir Tawfiq, the club’s contract manager and Swiss coach, before traveling to his country.

And Murtaji confirmed that it was agreed with Feiler and his agent on all matters to renew his contract with the Red Team two seasons, pointing out that the Swiss coach welcomed the renewal of his contract with the red giant, but he needed to consult his family before signing the new contracts.
