Football. Hooligans ripped the shirts of VSC Debrecen footballers

Dante’s scenes came after the Saturday meeting of the Hungarian Ekstraklasa VSC Debrecen – Paksi SE. The match ended with a score of 1-1, which meant a drop to the second division for the hosts. This enraged the fans who broke into the pitch, forcing the shirts off the players.

It was a direct clash of two teams struggling to maintain. The layout was simple – Debrecen needed a victory to stay in the top division.

The hosts quickly, because after 17 minutes they lost the goal. They were able to equalize a quarter of an hour before the end, but that was all that Elemer Kondas’s charges could do on that day.

After the referee’s final whistle the players fell down on the pitch. If they knew what awaited them, they would probably go to the locker room as soon as possible. The fans were furious and had the right to feel great regret. However, nothing justifies the deeds they have committed.
