With his constant smile, and with words incapable of describing his happiness, Liverpool coach Juergen Klopp spoke of the historic coronation of his team Liverpool in the English Premier League title.
Liverpool have won the absent title since 1990, and Club Made with all the coaches that preceded it for 3 decades.
Klopp spoke to his club’s official website in a video interview, during which he expressed his extraordinary happiness with this achievement.
Klopp stated: “I cannot describe my feelings now because I will cry again if I try to speak, and that does not look good.”
He added: “It is a mixture of several feelings. I am comfortable, happy and proud, I cannot be more proud of the boys.”
And on the backstage of the coronation: “We watched the match together all of us, and we knew that the title might or might not be decided, and when the countdown started in the last 5 seconds, it was like a blast. His description was a wonderful and pleasant moment. “
He continued: “Immediately after, I felt an emptiness inside, I did not believe what happened, I was not happy with myself at that moment, as if the feelings were too much for me to bear, but I would be fine. Don’t worry.”
He admitted: “I could not be more happy or dream more than that. I had not dreamed of it before last year because we had not been close enough in 3 years, and a year ago we were very close.”
“What the boys did in the last two and a half years is a myth … the continuity they showed is unmatched by anything else. In front of Crystal Palace we played as if the stadium was full of fans chanting the name of Liverpool,” he stressed.

Klopp talked about the scenes of the decision to watch Liverpool’s players to face the title together.
Klopp said: “We thought in the morning whether we had to gather or not, and I saw that no, because the place is far and some boys will have to drive a long distance, and then I said to myself: No, everyone must attend.”

And he started giving the title to the club’s legends: “Kenny Dalglish and Graeme Souness spoke to me and they were very happy, this is wonderful because this club is based on what they did, as well as on what Shankly, Paisley, Fagan and others did, and on Stephen Gerrard who held the club on his shoulders for 20 years, bearing all The pressure is very brilliantly, and I am happy that we are winning the championship for him. “
He continued: “Boys love being part of this club and its history, and it is wonderful how we learned to deal with this history and how we use it in the last two years.”
He concluded: “You know how the wait was 30 years more than me, 30 years ago I was 23, and I did not think at that time to win a championship with Liverpool, I did not have the skill to do so, but after 30 years I am here thanks to this wonderful crew.”
