Excellent Robens ready to return to professional football – Football

Robens announced the end of his career last year. He signed a contract with Bayern Munich last summer and it was known in advance that the two sides would not continue cooperating.

Roben left his first professional club in 2002, and since then he has been able to win the title of national champion with Eindhoven’s PSV, London’s Chelsea, Madrid’s Real and Munich’s Bayern.

The Dutchman played for the longest time at the Munich club, where in ten years he helped the team to win eight wins in the Bundesliga championship. He was also crowned winner of the UEFA Champions League at the German club in 2013.

Robens pointed out that he feels motivated to return to the field, but from the beginning he should regain his athletic form.

“I want to return to playing in the ranks of ‘Groningen’, but I’m not sure it will happen. I am sure of one thing – I will be present in the first training of next season,” the video published on the club’s website says.

“My dream is to play for this team, but we haven’t been there yet. It’s not forbidden to dream about it. I started my career at the club academy at the age of 12, but I made my debut four years later against PSV.”

The slogan “Arjēn, follow your heart” is placed on the stadium. The footballer did not deny that this call had really addressed him, so the Dutchman decided to return home.

In 2010, the midfielder was named German Footballer of the Year, but in the Munich team he scored 144 goals in 309 games.

In the Dutch national team, the midfielder played 96 games and scored 37 goals. Together with the national team, he reached the final of the 2010 World Cup, but four years later he won third place.
