The German media ‘Sport Bild’ claims that the Ruhr club is determined to keep Lucien Favre on the bench for the coming season.
The Swiss technician’s current lease with the Borussens ends in 2021. Bild says the former OGC Nice coach will stay in Dortmund at least until the end of this period.
Lucien Favre did not win a title with the BvB, but with the former coach of Nice, the German club finished twice vice-champion of Germany, each time entering the group stage of the Champions League.
