For a guy who has already recorded three aces in his PGA Tour career, Justin Thomas really wanted it.
Playing on the fifth par-3, his 14th hole of the day, Friday at the TPC River Highlands, Thomas saw his 229-yard tee ball land to the left of the pin, kick to the right and start drawing:
Unfortunately, he would have continued to lose his 6 foot per birdie, turning a potential into three disappointing ones.
The previous holes in Thomas’ tour arrived at Masters 2019, WGC-Mexico 2017 and Greenbrier 2015.
