The 2015 NFL Most Valuable Player will join the six-time Super Bowl champions with a deal worth up to $ 7.5 million, the NFL network citing an informed source.
The 31-year-old Newton led the Carolina Panthers to a spot in the Super Bowl 50 five years ago and in 2019 will challenge Jarrett Stidham and Brian Hoyer to star three-time MVP Tom Brady, who moved to Tampa Bay Buccaneers in free hand.
