LAKE ELMO, Minn. – Sometimes Crystal and Bruce Boudreau are like Abbott and Costello’s routine.
When asked on Wednesday evening how her quarantine had gone, Crystal Boudreau took a bite of calamari, casually wiped her mouth with a napkin, and said, “Our quarantine started on February 14th.”
Her husband said without missing a beat: “Yes, if we look at ourselves wrong now, it’s time to get up and go to another room.”
The NHL paused its season on March 12, and Minnesota introduced a two-month order to stay at home later that month. But for the Boudreaus, their order at home essentially started on February 14, when “Gabby” was released as the Wild head coach.
The couple have basically stayed in the city since then.
This can sometimes be difficult if you are as recognizable as Boudreau and Wild fans keep telling you, “I miss you, coach.” You will never end …
