Speaking of language: it’s such a thing in Poland. “A few teammates have been here for years and say there’s no chance of learning that,” laughs the Viennese. During training, only Polish is spoken – except for the trainer, “he can speak a bit of German and English.” Immensely important for Knasmüllner, who needs to feel the much-quoted “trust from the trainer”. “I already have the feeling. We communicate a lot on site and the fact that he can speak German is of course an advantage,” he said, feeling comfortable during his first taster training session.
