An All-Star Game in the NBA?

The NBA and its Players Association are currently discussing the possibility of hosting an All-Star Game in March.

That’s what ESPN learned on Monday.

Remember that the Silver circuit chose not to hold the event during its 2020-2021 campaign, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Initially, the clash between the best players in the NBA was to be held in Indianapolis.

It appears, however, that the league is keen to hold the event in Atlanta, with the support of historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs).

Even if that All-Star Game does not ultimately take place, the NBA is still planning a “All-Star Game Break” between March 5-10. “Stars” will also be selected, with or without a game.
