The NBA game between San Antonio Spurs and Los Angeles Lakers will go down in the history books as a multi-milestone game. Becky Hammon became the first woman ever to lead an NBA team, and LeBron James scored at least ten points for the thousandth game in a row.
Hammon, 43, a former professional basketball player, has been Gregg Popovich’s assistant at the San Antonio Spurs since 2014. However, the head coach was ejected during the game after commenting on the lead, after which Hammon took over the lead.
